Mom and I have season tickets to the Dallas Summer Musicals, and (believe it or not) the season has already started! Not long ago, we had tickets to see Phantom of the Opera, one of my all-time favorite musicals. By the way, one of my pet peeves is when people call them plays. Musicals are not plays, just as plays are not musicals - they are two totally different things.
Anyway, since Chance was in Dallas for the week, Dad decided to tag along with Mom for an afternoon/evening with the kids. It was great for the four of us to spend some time together, and of course I put the boys to work doing some things around my house (!) We had an amazing dinner at Mattito's before Mom and I headed to the show.
I've been really terrible about taking my camera with me lately, but luckily I have my phone to try and capture a few things. We had great seats for Phantom (first row balcony - my favorite place to sit) and I LOVE the chandelier as part of the show. I wish I could have captured it better, but it gives me chills every time I see it.
