I knew we were "supposed" to get some snow today in Dallas, but I just assumed it would be like every other "snow day" we've had this year - a few nice little flurries, but nothing that really sticks for long. I snapped this picture from my front porch when I opened the door this morning:
It's so beautiful! Then, I remembered how disgusting melting snow can be when I took my first step outside and my feet got soaked. Apparently, moving to the south made me dumber and I totally forgot how to dress properly in this type of weather. oops.
By the time I got to my first appointment of the day, it was still coming down hard:
Now, work is over, I'm stuck inside, work is cancelled for tomorrow and the novelty has worn off, so I've stopped taking pictures.
